A couple of reminders

Hi girls 

Please take note of these reminders:

1. Training Camp PLs, please get all your materials ready. On Thursday, the homeecons room will be opened for you to put your food in it. Packing list will also be emailed to you, please check your emails, PLs. A copy of the packing list will be uploaded on this blog as well.

2. Sec Ones who are interested in joining us for training camp, please give me your replies by this Sunday, 8pm.

3. Sec 4s who are helping Anggun, please meet on Monday, 2.30PM outside guides den. Be punctual. Sec 4s who are heading over to Camp Christine with me & Tziyene, please meet us at porch immediately after school at the porch.

4. Sign your reply form and health form. **

5. Chloe, you left your uniform at the Guides Den.

6. Guides Tee ICs, please have the digital copy of the guides tee design printed by next guides session.

World Thinking Day 2014 celebrations & North Division Day 2014

Hey guides! 

This is a post for all the pictures we've took from Saturday! I thought A* Guides did a pretty good job on that day!! /applause/ 

Great job to all the girls who took part in any competition! 

And we all deserve a huge round of applause for our hard work last year to sustain our GOLD award :D you all have worked hard!!

World Thinking Day & North Division Day 2014 Details

Hey guides!

Good job for today! Tomorrow is another more important event so we need to put in our best as well! Here are the details:

- Except for Fusion Dancers and Karaoke Singers, all of you are to be in Full School Uniform (Sec 1s) and Full Guides Uniform (Sec 2-5s).

- Those reporting to school, please get there by 7am. Those going to Yishun Sec straight, please get there by 7.30am!

- Bring a pair of Scissors & Glue stick as well. Label your names on these items.

- The event is estimated to end around 12pm. 

- Do remember to tell your seniors (me for sec 1s and your PLs for the rest of you) your roles for tomorrow. 

- Girls who have yet to tell us if you are going to YSS straight, do text us immediately.

- Poster Design and Patch design girls, do remember to prepare some materials.

- Telematch Sec 1 girls, do report in PE attire straight as well.

THINKING DAY CEREMONY 2014 (School)

Hi Guides

Tomorrow is an important day as we commemorate Thinking Day in school. Hence, it is important to take note of some details which can help you to be prepared:

• White shoes with socks (4 fingers above shoe opening)

• Iron your uniform and scarf

• Polish your trefoil

• Make sure all patches & badges are in place.

• Have an early but full breakfast.

• Be alert at all commands.

• French braided hair. (Sec ones are to braid as well.) Blue ribbons will be given in school tomorrow.

• No earrings or any other accessories are to be worn with the full uniform.

• Full Uniform with Tie for Sec Ones.

• Be in full Guides U for the whole day, unless you have PE. Change back to Full U for the end of the day as well.

• Bring your hats, GLOVES & safety pins (in case there is some emergencies)

• Sleep Early.

• Belt and Whistle should be in place. 

• Underside buttons at the collars should be sewn too

• Remember to say your pledge and promise with pride.

• National Anthem is to be sung with pride for all Singaporeans.

Any guides who are unable to attend school tomorrow should inform your Patrol Leaders.

Sec ones are to stay back after the hoisting down of World Flag after school as well. Gather outside Guides' den.

Girls who want to proceed to Yishun Sec on Sat should also text me by tonight.

Be on time tomorrow for attire check.

Hey Guides

There will be Guides Session tomorrow, and it'll be the final rehearsals for THINKING DAY! All are to report in PE/Guides Tee at 2.15pm, outside Guides Den with your water bottles, filled to the brim. Do not be late for CCA. 

Girls who are required to go for any volleyball matches, please excuse yourself and turn up for Guides, because it's the LAST practice before thinking day. Do explain to your teacher(s).

We will be letting the sec ones try out the uniform sizes tmr as well. PLs, please remember to bring.

N Div day competition people, please also do be ready. Karaoke participants, you might need to stay back for a short while tmr, to show us the final performance! 

Just a few more days to thinking day! Hang in there, girls.

Hi girls

Previously we mentioned that those who didn't go for the last booth training will have to go to HQ this Saturday.

However we have yet to receive any updates from HQ side, so no, there is no need for any of you to go down tomorrow!

No CCA on 14/2/14

Hi Guides

There won't be CCA on this Friday due to the Teachers' Lohei Event. CCA will resume on next Wednesday. Please do go home and revise on the sequence of the Thinking Day ceremony for Anderson. We need all of you to put in your best effort in the last practice session.

Hi Guides 

Here are some pictures I took that day during outdoor cooking!

I hoped all of you had fun!

Another thing: Some of you are curious about what the PGA seniors are doing. We're preparing for our interview tomorrow! I mean, today! (Oh my goodness!)

Yeap. We really hated missing guides sessions with all of you but we had to BE PREPARED :) 

We'll do our best today! After today, we'll work hard together for N div day and thinking day!!

Hi Guides

Please report in FULL GUIDES U for Guides Session this Weds outside Guides Den at 2.15PM. We will be doing outdoor cooking so please get your punks twigs and kindlings ready. We will be boiling water and cooking eggs. 

PLs, please ensure your patrol has at least 3 eggs & a few matchsticks. 

There will also be a photoshoot at 3PM of us doing outdoor cooking.
